Our licensed investigators are trained to conduct discreet video surveillance and obtain courtroom admissible evidence. The video gives our client's the facts so they can make an informed decision. If it becomes necessary, it also gives the jury a clear picture of the subject during normal activities when they do not know they are being observed. All the video is obtained using the utmost care, while in the public view. We also provide a full written report as part of the investigation.
EX-CEL INVESTIGATIONS® has the capability to use covert video
surveillance cameras, without audio, in public places like offices, department
stores, bars, restaurants, where they have no expectation of privacy. It is a
crime in Florida to covertly audio record someone without their permission.
There are criminal and civil penalties. Florida is what's call an all-party
consent state. You must get their permission if you are going to record them
with audio, unless they are in a public forum. This is my understanding
of the law and not legal advice.
